Full Job Description

Private Practice that has been operating for over 10 years with the owner of 20 years of clinical experience, with advanced level of experience and expertise is looking for recent graduates of MHC program looking for placement to obtain their 3000 hours to meet experience requirements for LMHC and DIAGNOSTIC PRIVILAGE.

In order to be accepted to our practice you need to:

· Demonstrate 5 years of your own individual psychotherapy experience as patient

· Have desire to continue advanced postgraduate clinical training and development

· Want to learn how to operate your own private practice: get help in development the necessary clinical readiness, what are legal, business, state requirements and how do we stay compliant

· The Permit Holders will be employed as W2

· Will receive a minimum of 1 hr weekly individual supervision with Jennifer Varley, LMHC-D and 1 hr of group supervision

· Access to your supervisor and other staff therapists at the practice on a daily basis

· Weekly SUPERVISION: 4x month 1 hour individual supervision to discuss cases, 4xmonth 1 hr group supervision participation in group supervision with other staff psychotherapists with various levels of experience and expertise. Each group supervision therapists are rotating, one therapists presents a case that is discussed in the group

· Help with writing the bio for zocdoc/psych today.

· Preparation for your own PRIVATE PRACTICE: after you receive your LMHC you will have an option to stay at the practice as 1099, or shift to your own PRIVATE PRACTICE. If the second is the choice, you will be able to take with all your patients in your caseload that you have built in 3 years. You can take your zocdoc profile with reviews, and psychology today (with all the reviews accumulated).

· Assistance and advice on how to navigate opening private practice that is fully in compliance with the current laws and regulations, professional and ethical standards,

ONLY for applicants who have been a minimum of 5 years in their own psychotherapy.
