Full Job Description

Job Summary
If you are looking to join a great private practice and build your clinical skills along with working towards licensure you are looking in the right place. We are not a large community mental health agency where you might just be one of many! This position focuses on gradually building a case load, controlling the learning curve pressures along with gaining valuable clinical skills and approaches! We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated master's level therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic support to individuals facing various challenges, including chronic pain, crisis situations, and developmental issues. This role requires an understanding of clinical counseling techniques and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including children and adolescents. The therapist will be responsible for creating a safe and supportive environment for clients while employing evidence-based practices to facilitate healing and growth. This is a fee for service position. This position will also come with supervision leading to state licensure.

If you are willing to learn and work hard this is the perfect position to grow into a successful private practice therapist!

Duties

Conduct individual therapy sessions tailored to the needs of clients.
Utilize techniques learned in graduate school and grow and learn new ones.
Maintain accurate notes in compliance with organizational policies.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
Work directly with children and adolescents, and adults employing age-appropriate therapeutic techniques.
Actively participate in supervision consistently

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Psychology, or Counseling that provides the ability for Massachusetts LMHC licensure. No LICSW supervision available.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathize with clients from various backgrounds.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in therapy practice.
