Crestview Aerospace Overview

Crestview Aerospace is a manufacturing organization working closely with large aircraft and weapon systems OEMs, such as Boeing Defense, Bell, RTX/Collins Aerospace, Northrop Grumman and several others to deliver complex design-to-build and build-to print assemblies. Crestview Aerospace provides these assemblies in support of in-service platforms, such as: H-47, V-22, F-35, F-15, F-16, F-18, KC-135, E-2, and weapon systems such as Harpoon and SLAM-ER. Crestview Aerospace is comprised of two (2) manufacturing sites, with operations in St. Louis, Missouri and Crestview, FL, and employs approximately 300 professionals.

Description

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for full-cycle accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations. This role supports financial accuracy, vendor relationships, and internal controls within a fast-paced aerospace/manufacturing environment.

Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Process high-volume vendor invoices with accuracy and timeliness
Perform three-way match (purchase order, receipt, invoice) to ensure proper authorization
Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Maintain accurate and organized AP records and documentation
Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues or inquiries
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls
Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and account reconciliations
Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations
Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy

Professional Requirements, QualificationsDesired Competencies:

Highschool diploma or equivalent
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Accounts Payable and Purchase Orders experience is a plus
Experience with Epicor ERP is preferred

Work Environment:

Office-based role within a manufacturing/aerospace setting
Collaborative, fast-paced environment with cross-functional interaction

Physical Requirements:

Primarily manufacturing/assembly environment. Must be able to work in the following environmental conditions: noise, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current.

Must be able to bend and reach. Must have close visual acuity such as viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines, and/or assembly or fabrication parts at close distance to the eyes. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be able to maneuver up to 20 pounds. Will be performing substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
