Full Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Take on an impactful role supporting cardiovascular care with a nursing opportunity in a Cath Lab setting. This contract position is designed for experienced Registered Nurses passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered services within a dynamic healthcare team.

Schedule/Hours:

One weekend per month call coverage
Weekday call required 4-5 days each pay period (weekends included in total call days)
Call hours: End of scheduled shift until 7:30 AM the following morning, Monday through Friday as scheduled
Weekend call: End of Friday shift through Monday at 7:30 AM

Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted RN license
Previous experience working in a Cath Lab environment is preferred
Advanced knowledge of cardiovascular patient care protocols and interventions
Strong critical thinking abilities and a calm approach in high-stakes situations
Familiarity with invasive cardiac procedures and monitoring equipment
Ability to respond promptly to emergency calls and adapt to rapidly changing scenarios
Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver evidence-based care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures
Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless workflows
Monitor patient status pre, intra, and post-procedure, responding effectively to changes in condition
Maintain detailed, accurate documentation in compliance with regulations and facility policies
Educate patients and families about procedures, safety, and post-care instructions

$2,251 - $2,381/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
