Are you a people-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, developing leaders, and making an impact in your community?

As a District Executive, you'll work with volunteers, businesses, schools, civic organizations, and community leaders to grow Scouting and create meaningful opportunities for young people.

What You'll Do

Recruit, train, coach, and support adult volunteers
Build relationships with businesses, schools, civic organizations, and community partners
Grow membership and strengthen Scouting programs
Develop volunteer-led fundraising efforts
Support and grow local Scouting units
Represent Scouting at community events and organizations
Develop and execute plans to achieve membership, fundraising, and program goals
Communicate effectively with diverse audiences and community leaders

We're looking for someone who is:

Outgoing, motivated, and relationship-oriented
A strong self-starter who is comfortable working independently
Organized and committed
Confident with public speaking and presentations
Persistent, creative, and results-driven
Comfortable recruiting, coaching, and working with volunteers
Passionate about helping young people and strengthening communities

Scouting experience is helpful, but not required. Experience in sales, fundraising, nonprofit leadership, education, recruiting, business development, or community engagement is valuable.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum age of 21
Valid driver's license
Ability to pass required background and motor vehicle checks
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Ability to travel for professional training

$45,000–$50,000 salary
