Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in a fast-paced medical office environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within the clinic.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
Manage front desk operations, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling patient inquiries.
Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry into the electronic health record system.
Assist with medical billing processes, including verifying insurance information and processing payments.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and manage patient flow.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and managing correspondence.
Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Support the medical collection process by following up on outstanding balances.

Skills

Previous experience in a clinic or medical office setting is preferred.
Familiarity with medical office management software such as Dr Chrono, Athenahealth or Epic is a plus.
Strong understanding of care plans, medical billing, and collections processes.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment.
Proficient in administrative tasks with strong organizational skills.
A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork.
