Position Title: General Manager/Owner Operator
Reports To: Oklahoma Franchise Ownership Group
Position Summary
If you would like to be a shop owner, but do not have enough funds, this opportunity may be for
you. We are looking for General Managers with limited funds to invest in a Bosch Auto Service
franchise along with us. Our group will invest most of the funds required.
The Bosch Auto Service General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership,
performance, and profitability of the automotive service center. This role oversees all aspects of
the business, including operations, financial performance, customer experience, employee
development, sales growth, and compliance with Bosch Auto Service standards.
The General Manager provides strategic leadership while managing the day-to-day operations of
the facility, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and a high-
performing team. This individual serves as the face of the business, fostering a culture of
accountability, professionalism, integrity, and continuous improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Direct and oversee all daily operations of the Bosch Auto Service location.
Ensure efficient workflow between the front office and the service department.
Maintain high standards for productivity, quality, and operational consistency.
Ensure compliance with Bosch Auto Service operating standards and best practices.
Develop and implement operational improvements to maximize efficiency and
profitability.
Monitor shop capacity, technician productivity, and vehicle throughput.
Financial Management
Manage the overall Profit & Loss (P&L) performance of the business.
Develop annual budgets and monthly financial forecasts.
Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including:
o Car Count
o Average Repair Order (ARO)
o Gross Profit
o Labor Gross Profit
o Parts Gross Profit
o Technician Productivity
o Close Ratio
o Effective Labor Rate
o Net Profit
Control operating expenses while maintaining service quality.
Analyze financial reports and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Maximize profitability through effective pricing, labor management, and expense control.
Customer Experience
Establish and maintain a culture focused on exceptional customer service.
Ensure every customer receives a professional, transparent, and consistent service
experience.
Resolve escalated customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and online reputation.
Build long-term customer loyalty through trust, communication, and service excellence.
Sales & Business Development
Collaborate with ownership and the Bosch Auto Workshop Solutions (BAWS) team to
develop business growth strategies.
Increase sales through customer retention, fleet development, marketing initiatives, and
community engagement.
Monitor sales performance and implement improvement strategies.
Develop partnerships with local businesses and organizations.
Promote Bosch Auto Service programs and value-added services.
Leadership & People Management
Recruit, hire, train, coach, and retain high-performing employees.
Establish clear performance expectations and accountability.
Conduct regular employee performance reviews.
Develop future leaders within the organization.
Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented workplace culture.
Promote continuous education and professional development.
Quality Assurance
Ensure all repairs meet Bosch Auto Service quality standards.
Monitor Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) compliance and repair quality.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized facilities.
Ensure adherence to all warranty procedures and documentation requirements.
Conduct regular operational audits.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with:
o OSHA regulations
o Environmental regulations
o State and local licensing requirements
o Bosch Auto Service operating standards
Maintain workplace safety programs.
Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.

Qualifications
Required
Minimum 5 years of automotive management experience.
Minimum 3 years of multi-department leadership experience.
Strong understanding of automotive repair operations.
Experience managing Profit & Loss statements.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in related field or extensive work experience.
ASE certifications.
Experience with Auto Service operations.
Experience using shop management software and Digital Vehicle Inspection platforms.

The General Manager works in a professional automotive service environment that includes
office responsibilities and regular interaction within the repair facility. This role requires frequent
engagement with customers, employees, vendors, and ownership while maintaining a safe,
organized, and professional workplace.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
