We're looking for a warm, personable, and patient individual who genuinely enjoys meeting people and making them feel welcome the moment they walk through our doors.

The Role

The Customer Greeter is the anchor of The Joint's front-of-house experience. You'll welcome every customer, verify their ID, register them into our system, answer basic questions, and keep the lobby running smoothly. It's a role built on reliability, warmth, and genuine hospitality and it makes a real difference every single day.

What You'll Do

Greet every customer with a warm, friendly welcome the moment they walk in.
Verify valid, government-issued photo ID for every customer required by Illinois law, no exceptions.
Register new and returning customers into the dispensary system accurately and efficiently.
Answer general questions about the store, product categories, and current promotions.
Direct customers to the appropriate Budtender or department based on their needs.
Keep the lobby and entrance area clean, organized, and inviting throughout your shift.
Monitor customer flow and communicate wait times to the team to keep things moving smoothly.
Maintain a calm, welcoming environment especially for first-time or hesitant customers who may need a little extra reassurance.
Support the team with light administrative tasks during slower periods.

What We're Looking For

21+ years of age (required by Illinois law).
A genuine love of people and a natural ability to make anyone feel at ease.
Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor every customer, every time.
Reliable and punctual; your team counts on you to be there.
Basic comfort with a computer or tablet for customer registration.
Ability to stand or sit at a greeting station for extended periods.
No prior cannabis experience required we'll train you on everything you need to know.
Illinois Responsible Vendor Training certification (or willingness to obtain before start date).
