Admission Office Assistants support all aspects of admission and recruitment efforts of the College, including assistance with office projects, daily office responsibilities, and prospective student events.
Assist with administrative daily office responsibilities including but not limited to, logging information into database systems, processing mail, making phone calls to prospective and accepted students, answering phones, welcoming guests, and assisting with daily office tasks.
Assist with file preparation and distribution, data entry and follow-up.
Provide support to the Admission Counselor staff with specialty office projects as assigned. Responsible for assisting with the creation, design, implementation and follow through of each of these projects.
Learn and assist with updating the use of technology in the office's recruiting efforts. Help with such projects as: social media content, webpage updates, and email efforts.
Assist with the preparation and execution of prospective student events, including organizing materials, supporting event logistics, and helping create a welcoming experience for students and families.
Support campus visit operations by serving as a backup tour guide for prospective students and their families when Student Ambassadors are unavailable.
Job Requirements:
Excellent attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Works well both in a team environment and independently.
Ability to work effectively with others to meet institutional enrollment goals.
Understand the demands and conduct of working in a high-profile environment, including the importance of discretion when working with confidential information.

This position is only open to current MCLA students.
