Full Job Description

Khalsa Design Inc. (KDI) is a Somerville, Massachusetts based Architectural firm. Established in 1985, KDI’s primary focus is on providing quality services to our clients, while providing leadership and growth opportunities to our staff. Although KDI’s client base is diverse, we specialize in Multi-Family Residential, Hospitality, Retail and Mixed-Use projects.

Khalsa Design Inc. is seeking self-motivated, architectural draftsperson with attention to detail and ability to quickly aid in producing construction documents. 2 years minimum of experience with technical and design skills and proficiency in Autodesk REVIT & AutoCAD software. Knowledge of wood frame construction is required.

Qualifications:

Professional architectural degree required.
2 years minimum of post graduate experience.
Understanding of building systems.
Organized and detail-driven.
Work with project team to prepare presentations and produce documents from schematic design through to the construction phase.
Proficient in current version of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Photoshop.
Able to coordinate with other team members and manufacturers.
Assist in documenting existing conditions in the field.
