Data Entry Specialist

Location: North Andover, MA
Position: Full-Time, On-Site

Position Summary

Crusader Paper Company is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support our day-to-day manufacturing, accounting, and administrative operations. This position is responsible for reviewing production records, entering operational and financial information, processing invoices, supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records.

The ideal candidate is highly accurate, organized, comfortable working with numbers and computer systems, and willing to investigate and resolve issues when information does not match.

Responsibilities

Review daily production records and paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
Enter production information into the company's computer system.
Enter and process receipts for materials and incoming goods.
Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and on time.
Enter and process accounts receivable transactions and maintain accurate customer account records.
Assist with monitoring outstanding receivables and resolving customer billing discrepancies.
Review, enter, and process vendor invoices.
Enter and maintain accounts payable information.
Match invoices, receipts, purchase orders, and supporting documentation.
Identify and resolve discrepancies involving production records, inventory, receipts, customer invoices, vendor invoices, payables, and receivables.
Work with production, shipping/receiving, purchasing, customers, vendors, and accounting personnel to obtain missing information and correct errors.
Verify data and documentation before completing transactions.
Maintain accurate electronic and paper records.
Scan, file, organize, and retrieve documents as needed.
Assist with general accounting and administrative responsibilities.
Help maintain accurate information within company systems.
Perform other duties and special projects as needed to support day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Good data entry and computer skills.
Comfortable working with numbers and reviewing detailed paperwork.
Ability to identify discrepancies and follow through until they are resolved.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple daily responsibilities.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Dependable and able to work independently while also working effectively with others.
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, inventory, manufacturing, or production records is a plus.
Experience working with ERP, accounting, or manufacturing computer systems is a plus.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is accurate, dependable, organized, and proactive. This is more than a basic data-entry position. The person in this role needs to understand the information they are entering, recognize when something does not look right, investigate discrepancies, and work with the appropriate people to get issues corrected.

Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
