We are currently hiring CNC Auto Form Operators for our Forest Lake, MN location.

Activar Industrial Products Group (AIPG) manufactures and distributes thousands of products.:
Bending Technologies metal fabrication specializing in precision tube forming, bending and rolling. In addition, our expansive workshop allows for complimentary fabrication methods such as welding, finishing, drilling, laser, tapping, and sheet metal applications.
Springs Inc. specializes in round wire compression springs, extension springs, torsion springs and wire forms for a variety of applications and industries.

Hours: Mon-Thurs. 6am- 4:30pm or Tues.-Fri. 6 am- 4:30 pm Weekly opportunities often available to pick up additional overtime hours!
Pay: Up to $28/hr. DOE, paid weekly!

POSITION PURPOSE:
The CNC Auto Form Operator operates all auto forming equipment to accurately and efficiently complete orders to established procedures and quality standards.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

· Set-up and operate all CNC auto forming equipment to specification and with the capability of meeting quoted rates.

· Operate equipment to ensure the highest quality of production is achieved.

· Maintain full knowledge of test equipment.

· Inspect work for conformance to job specifications.

· Obtain necessary materials and tools required to achieve expected run rates.

· Complete documentation as needed.

· Perform machine maintenance.

· Ensure equipment is in satisfactory condition and communicate when repairs are needed.

· Ensure the safe operation of equipment.

· Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

· Report immediately to supervisor/lead/manager any and all problems, which may affect safety, equipment, tooling, and/or quality.

· Maintain full working knowledge of all processes.

· Ensure a clean and organized work environment.

· Conduct himself/herself in a professional manner in accordance with company guidelines.

· Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

· Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

· Tenacity in overcoming obstacles while maintaining productive and positive working relationships.

· Ability to execute in a rapidly changing fast-paced environment that requires strong teamwork.

· Willing to understand spring and wire form designs.

· Versatile in all wire ranges.

· Understanding of all tools, gages, equipment, and other various instruments used to perform position.

· Basic ability to understand blueprints, schematics, and instrumentation diagrams.

· Skill in performing accurate arithmetic functions involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; using decimals, percentages, fractions, and ratios.

· Knowledge of quality system and ISO procedures.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Required:

· Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification.

The employee may be required to work with hazardous materials. The employee may be exposed to hot surfaces, hot air, electrical hazards, and flames. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works with moving machinery and occasionally in outside weather.
