About Us:

Job Description:
As a Back of House Team Member at Ribeyes Steakhouse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. Your responsibilities will vary and may include cooking, plating, food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. We are seeking versatile individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

Cooking and Plating:
Prepare and cook menu items according to Ribeyes Steakhouse's recipes and standards.
Ensure all dishes are presented and plated in an appealing manner.
Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.
Food Preparation:
Chop, slice, and dice ingredients as needed for various dishes.
Assist in preparing sauces, marinades, and other components of our menu items.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Dishwashing and Cleaning:
Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
Take out trash and recycling, and ensure the kitchen is clean and ready for the next shift.
General Duties:
Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
Collaborate with the Front of House staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or head chef.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and sanitation standards.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
