What You'll Do

As an Internal Auditor, you'll help evaluate and strengthen the organization's internal control environment while supporting risk management and compliance initiatives across multiple business functions.

Responsibilities include:

Assist with completing risk assessments of business processes throughout the organization.
Perform internal audits in accordance with the approved audit plan and established audit standards.
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, financial reporting processes, and operational efficiencies.
Identify risks, control gaps, and process improvement opportunities while providing practical recommendations.
Prepare clear, concise audit reports and communicate findings to leadership.
Coordinate external audits and regulatory examinations.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and internal procedures.
Collaborate with department leaders to monitor corrective action plans and audit follow-up activities.
Analyze data and documentation to support audit conclusions and identify trends or emerging risks.
Promote a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a motivated professional who combines strong analytical abilities with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

Three to five years of internal or external auditing experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
General understanding of banking regulations, internal controls, and risk management principles.
Working knowledge of audit methodologies, standards, and best practices.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and data analysis tools.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
