Full Job Description

**PRACTICE OPENING OCTOBER 2026**

About the Practice

Goldman Dermatology of Miami is a brand new, privately owned dermatology practice founded by board-certified dermatologist Dr. Chloe Goldman. Dr. Goldman has been practicing in the Miami area since 2018, specializing in cosmetic, medical, and surgical dermatology. Practice opening in October of 2026.

About the Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Services Representative with strong medical billing and insurance verification experience to be the welcoming face of our practice. This role is essential in creating a positive patient experience, supporting our dermatology team in delivering and upholding our strong commitment to exceptional care.

Compensation

Competitive compensation for this position will be commensurate with experience, with the anticipated range of $20-22 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to the following:

Patient Services

Schedule appointments and set visit expectations
Inform patients of office policies
Handle check-in and check-out processes
Manage purchases and educate patients on services and products
Answer phone calls and manage incoming leads
Credential providers and verify insurance
Manage patient quotes, payments, and communications
Maintain high standards of customer service

Billing

Demonstrate a strong understanding of medical billing practices
Ensure timely and accurate billing, seamless insurance verification, and a smooth financial experience for patients
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to manage all aspects of billing, from insurance verification to claim resolution
Uphold a strong commitment to patient service

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years experience in private-practice dermatology or related specialty, with a strong background in a cosmetic clinical setting, is highly preferred.
Proficiency in dermatology and cosmetic medicine terminology preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with EMR systems (Nextech preferred)
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards
Ability to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues in both English and Spanish is highly preferred.

Skills: Strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and proficiency in medical practice management software. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion. A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional patient service.
