Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst & Project Lead to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products, including mobile applications, web services, and enterprise software solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within an Agile environment to deliver reliable, high-quality software. The QA Analyst will be responsible for submitting development requests, designing test cases, executing tests, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to improve overall product quality.

Duties

Work with internal subject matter experts to identify software improvement opportunities and submit tickets to software developers.
Participate/Lead weekly scrum meetings with developers to identify development priorities and schedule
Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications.
Perform various testing types including functional, system, regression, performance, load testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Execute manual and automated tests across multiple platforms including Android, iOS, web browsers, and desktop environments.
Conduct API testing using RESTful APIs with tools like Postman or REST clients; validate responses and data integrity.
Analyze test results to identify root causes of defects; document issues clearly using defect tracking tools like Azure Dev Ops or similar.
Collaborate with developers during SDLC phases to ensure quality standards are met through continuous integration using Azure DevOps.
Participate in requirements gathering sessions to understand business needs and translate them into effective test strategies.
Perform database validation using SQL queries in Microsoft SQL Server to verify data accuracy.
Support system integration testing involving web services such as RESTful APIs; ensure seamless interoperability across systems.
Engage in troubleshooting issues related to software bugs or system failures; provide technical support during deployment phases.
Lead change from largely manual software development and testing process to an AI-empowered engineering model.
Identify opportunities to design and deploy AI agents that automate or replace existing manual workflows, improving efficiency, accuracy, and consistency while maintaining appropriate human oversight.
Use AI to accelerate requirements documentation, test-case creation, coding, code review, defect identification, and regressing testing.
Maintain a human-in-the-loop approach in which AI generates, analyzes, and recommends, while qualified employees review and approve material outputs.
Use AI to increase development speed and testing coverage without sacrificing accountability, data security, software quality, or institutional knowledge.

Qualifications

Proven experience in software quality assurance within IT environments with a strong understanding of SDLC methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
Hands-on experience with *test automation frameworks* (Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, or similar)
Proficiency in *manual testing* as well as automated testing for mobile applications (Android/iOS) and web platforms.
Strong knowledge of API testing (REST) and database validation (SQL)
Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Azure Dev Ops or similar; experience in QA test planning and execution.
Ability to perform *root cause analysis*, debugging issues effectively across different environments.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret business requirements into effective test cases; strong attention to detail is essential.
