Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Night Baker to join our bakery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, baking, and finishing a variety of baked goods during overnight shifts. This role requires a passion for baking, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Night Baker will ensure that all products meet quality standards and are ready for display and sale each morning. Experience in the food industry, especially in baking or pastry arts, is highly valued.

Duties

Prepare doughs, batters, and fillings for various baked goods including bread, pastries, and cakes
Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers with precision and safety
Package baked items for display or delivery while maintaining food safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and baking stations
Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure consistent quality
Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and ordering supplies as needed
Follow all food handling and safety protocols to ensure hygiene and compliance with health regulations
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production of baked goods for the next day’s operations

Experience

Required: Previous professional experience in baking, pastry arts, or food production
Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, knives, and other baking tools
Knowledge of food safety standards within the food industry or culinary environment
Experience working in a bakery, catering service, restaurant, or similar food service setting is advantageous
Strong knife skills and proficiency in baking techniques are essential for success in this role

This position offers an opportunity to work overnight hours in a creative and dynamic bakery environment. Candidates should be passionate about culinary arts with a focus on baked goods and customer satisfaction.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
