Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Tax Accountant to manage tax reporting and compliance within an organization. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely filing of federal, state, and local tax returns, and provide strategic tax planning to minimize tax liabilities.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
Conduct tax research and provide recommendations on tax-saving strategies.
Plan and review tax engagements, supervise staff, monitor budgets and progress, and report status to team members.
Support special tax projects, including ASC 740 provision calculations, trust and estate taxation, and international tax matters.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
3-6 years of proven experience as a Tax Accountant or similar role in a CPA firm.
Ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
