Full Job Description

Position Summary:

Our Line Cooks are responsible for preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment at a private country club. This role requires consistency, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences for members and guests

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines
Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies before service
Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner during service periods
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including proper food storage
Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations
Assist with prep work, including chopping, portioning, and ingredient preparation
Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to kitchen leadership
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
Adapt to menu changes, special events, and seasonal offerings

Qualifications

Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred
Knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Team player with good communication skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
ServSafe certification preferred

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working in a hot, busy kitchen environment
