Success On The Spectrum (“SOS”) provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We recently opened our second Connecticut location in Norwalk and are looking for Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians (BTs/RBTs) to join our team!

Job Description:
- Flexibility to take on additional tasks/responsibilities as needed
- Work in the center, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
- Directly implement Individualized Treatment Plans under the direction of BCBA
- Incorporate sensory activities into sessions (Arts/Crafts/Activities/Games)
- Record client data into CentralReach software
- Convert appointments and write detailed SOAP notes
- Attend regular team meetings and performance goal meetings with BCBA
- Attend monthly companywide staff meeting, second Tuesday of every month from 4:15-5:15pm
- Attend quarterly “In-Service” trainings and team bonding activities
- Client material creation and preparation
- Changing diapers/pull-ups and potty-training clients when applicable
- Some minor general cleaning/sanitizing duties
Compensation:
- Hourly, $19-$24/hour, depending on experience

About the Company: SOS-Shelton offers Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children typically aged 3-10 in our nautically-themed center. Playful, high-energy Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians seeking Full-Time employment (Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm) are encouraged to apply. We also have Part-Time positions available (Monday-Friday, 10:00am-2:00pm).

Staff members receive monthly competency reviews, regular formal Performance Reviews, and Behavior Technicians have the opportunity to be promoted to an RBT Level 1, RBT Level 2, RBT Level 3, Trainer, or Intern - each position has an associated compensation increase. There is significant opportunity for you to move up in the field!
SOS-Shelton provides hands-on training to our Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians. We will increase your ABA knowledge through weekly Supervision, regular team training, and quarterly “In-Service” all-staff training days when we close the clinic to clients. SOS will also pay for you to maintain your First Aid/CPR/BLS/AED certification as well as your QBS Safety-Care Certification, RBT certification course (if needed), and will reimburse your RBT certification exam upon a passing grade.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- No criminal background
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds, to sit on the floor, and to be physically active throughout the day
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
