About Us:
We are a patient-focused medical office seeking a dynamic and energetic Bilingual Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant to join our team. Our office values excellent patient care, a welcoming atmosphere, and strong teamwork.

This is a full time position with a consistent schedule Monday-Thursday from 9:00AM to 5:30 PM.

No medical assistant certification is required, as we provide full training.

Job Description:
In this combined role, you will be responsible for both front desk and medical assistant duties. You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality service to our patients, ensuring that all administrative and clinical tasks are performed efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, have strong communication skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Front Desk Responsibilities:

Greet, check in, and check out patients with a friendly, positive attitude.
Schedule patient appointments and manage the office’s calendar.
Assist with paperwork and provide translation services when needed.
Maintain proper telephone etiquette when answering calls and speaking with patients.
Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers to facilitate care.
Collect copay and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details.
Follow up on outgoing referrals and medical coverage related to injuries (including obtaining workman’s compensation authorization).

Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

Check patients in for their appointments and ensure accurate information is recorded.
Record vital signs (e.g., temperature, blood pressure, pulse) and update patient charts.
Create medical notes for physicians and assist with completing assigned memos.
Follow up with patients after procedures to ensure proper post-care and answer any questions.
Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
Strong communication skills with a focus on excellent patient care and customer service.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and maintain professionalism in a busy clinic environment.
No medical assistant certification required; training will be provided.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and team members.
Must be dependable and punctual.
