The Role

Full-time, in-person bookkeeper supporting two growing companies. You'll have direct ownership of the financials, work closely with ownership and management, and operate with minimal supervision. This is not an entry-level position — we want someone who can step in and take charge.

What You'll Do

Maintain accurate books for two companies in QuickBooks
Record and categorize daily transactions — AP, AR, and general ledger
Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
Monitor cash flow and checking accounts daily
Lead month-end close and deliver financial reports to management
Track job costs and collaborate with project managers on billing accuracy
Ensure compliance with Federal, state, and local reporting requirements
Maintain audit-ready records and support external auditors

What We're Looking For

3+ years hands-on QuickBooks experience (Pro/Advanced) — preferred
Netsuit experience a plus
Experience managing books for multiple companies — required
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office Suite — required
Strong AP, AR, general ledger, reconciliation, and job costing experience
Construction, restoration, or insurance background — a strong plus
Self-starter who works independently and meets deadlines

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
