Overview

Looking to hire a Division and Sales Manager for a Garage Door Company, where you'll be at the forefront of connecting residential and commercial clients with innovative garage door solutions. This energetic role offers the opportunity to drive business growth through proactive sales strategies, build lasting customer relationships, and showcase our top-tier products and services. As a key player in our sales force, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment that rewards initiative, communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

$70,000 to $120,000, including base salary plus percentage commission on all jobs sold. There is significant upside as you grow your book of business and improve your closing ratio.

Responsibilities

Learning our garage door systems and product offerings.
As division manager you will be responsible for managing the technicians and customer service representatives at the location, as well as overseeing other operational tasks such as inventory management and counts, fleet inspections, and more.
Engage in proactive prospecting through cold calling using organic and paid lead generation activities, and networking to identify potential customers.
Scheduling onsite customer meetings.
Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase garage door features, benefits, and technical specifications.
Manage customer accounts by providing tailored solutions, reviewing product options, addressing inquiries promptly, and maintaining ongoing relationships to foster loyalty.
Negotiate contracts and close sales efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
Measuring and inspecting garage door openings.
Placing orders.
Managing projects through completion.

Requirements

Outside sales, or territory management with a focus on technical or product-based solutions.
Proven experience in B2B (business-to-business) sales a plus.
Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to close deals effectively while maintaining high levels of customer service.
Experience managing technicians and customer service representatives.
History overseeing operation and inventory management.
Demonstrated success in prospecting, lead generation, and achieving or exceeding sales targets in a remote or field-based environment.
Effective communication skills for client consultations, product demos, and client negotiations across diverse industries.
