Full Job Description

Under general supervision, provides one-on-one behavioral interventions to children, youth, and/or adults receiving specialty mental health services in the client’s home, residential placement, school, or during community outings. Performs related duties as assigned.

Education Qualifications / Experience

Human services professional with more than one (1) year of full-time, post–graduate degree MH/DD/SA experience with the population served, or a substance abuse professional with less than one (1) year of supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling. Supervision will be provided by a qualified professional until one year of experience is met.
Bachelor’s degree in a human services field with more than two (2) years of post-bachelor’s degree MH/DD/SA experience with the population served, or substance abuse professional with less than two (2) years of supervised experience.
One (1) year documented experience providing mental health treatment to children and/or adolescents preferred.
High school diploma required (additional five (5) years of mental health experience preferred).

Responsibilities and Duties

Maintain assigned caseload of weekly billable insurance hours
Provide community-based behavioral health services in accordance with the Person-Centered Plan
Participate in the person-centered planning process
Monitor, track, and document consumer hours and annual intake dates as assigned
Assist Case Manager in monitoring treatment effectiveness and client progress
Complete assigned OnTarget tasks within 24 hours
Support engagement of community resources, natural supports, and non-medical providers
Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information during and after employment
Ensure confidentiality training remains current

Provider Responsibilities

Report critical concerns, lack of engagement, or safety issues to supervisor in a timely manner
Participate in multidisciplinary staffing, meetings, and required trainings
Complete appropriate annual intakes and documentation
Uphold professional ethics and demonstrate appropriate personal and professional conduct
Maintain cooperative working relationships with staff and treatment providers
Adhere to all agency policies, programs, and procedures
Maintain accurate, timely service documentation meeting agency, Medicaid, and auditing standards
Maintain flexibility to respond to client needs and crisis situations outside normal hours
Deliver services in various settings including homes, schools, shelters, and community locations
Maintain a safe, clean, and drug-free work environment
Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
