Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components according to detailed blueprints and schematics. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality, durable structures and parts, supporting various construction and manufacturing projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment where safety, precision, and craftsmanship are paramount.

Duties

Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and welding processes.
Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), SMAW weld
Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, hand brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and pipe materials.
Measure materials accurately with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure proper fit and alignment.
Fabricate ductwork, structural components, and custom metal assemblies adhering to ASME codes & standards.
Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks on-site or in the shop.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

Proven construction site experience or manufacturing background involving metal fabrication.
Proficiency in MIG welding, plasma cutting, and <LOCATION> welding techniques.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, mechanical drawings, and schematics effectively.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, pipe threading equipment, and machining tools.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments.
Experience with rigging operations, forklift operation and plasma cutting is preferred.
Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to welding and fabrication practices.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
