Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mortgage Advisor Assistant to join our dynamic team in our MN office. In this vital support role, you will assist mortgage advisors in obtaining applicable documentation, entering data into the Origination System and providing exceptional service to clients. Your expertise will help streamline the loan origination process, from initial inquiry through to approval, while maintaining strict adherence to federal and state mortgage regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop industry knowledge and enhance your skills in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Join us as a Mortgage Advisor Assistant and be part of a team dedicated to delivering client-focused mortgage solutions.

Compensation: $12-$15 an hour (depending upon experience)+ opportunity to earn a bonus.

Responsibilities

Support loan advisors in obtaining and reviewing applicable documentation for the processing mortgage applications, verifying customer information, and preparing necessary documentation as requested.
Assist with origination tasks including data entry, using Lending QB, Encompass or similar loan origination systems.
Ensure compliance with TRID (TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure) regulations and Fair Housing laws throughout the lending process.
Reach out and follow up with customers to obtain applicable documentation paying close attention to what is being provided.
Assist in scheduling mortgage officer client meetings.
Take all incoming calls and great in office customers.
Assist Mortgage Advisor with all clerical tasks.
Requests and coordinates loan documentation preparation.
Creates and maintains loan files for completeness.
Requests updated information for expiring documentation.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar role is required.
High school diploma or equivilent.
Ability to quickly connect with people in a professional and friendly manner.
Knowledge of program guidelines, and TRID compliance.
Familiarity with Lending QB, Encompass or comparable loan processing software.
Strong understanding of financial services regulations including Fair Housing laws and TILA requirements.
Good math skills including basic calculations related to loan amounts.
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure compliance with all loan regulations and documentation standards.
Bi-lingual in Somali a plus.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
