Full Job Description

ADMINISTRATIVE CASE MANAGER - AUTISM SERVICES PROVIDER

Red House Behavior Resources is looking for an Administrative Case Manager to coordinate services for individuals with autism in their homes. Red House is a growing company committed to high-quality services, and we maintain a team of experienced professionals who help children develop to their highest potential. The Case Manager is responsible coordinating between all members of the treatment team to set up and maintain in-home services for individuals on the autism spectrum. The Case Manager also effectively interfaces with multiple insurance providers to ensure that all services have authorizations for billing.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree preferred (degree in psychology, special education or related field preferred)
· Experience in ABA as a Behavior Therapist, RBT, BCAT or school paraprofessional preferred
· Ability to prioritize tasks and demonstrate efficient use of time.
· Excellent organizational and administrative skills
· Ability to be self-motivated and work independently
· Ability to obtain and communicate information clearly and concise
· Ability to demonstrate good judgment and efficiency during decision-making
· Intermediate level working knowledge using Microsoft office products, database software systems

Job tasks include but are not limited to the following:

· Collect patient demographic and insurance information
· Coordinate scheduling with providers in the field
· Communicate with providers, families and insurers
· Collect new insurance and contact information
· File medical reports, notes and correspondence in the patient's chart
· Prepare authorization forms to send out to begin and maintain services
· Track all aspect of patient case and coordinate timelines for recurring tasks
· Check in with all members of treatment team (BCBA supervisors, Behavior Therapists, parents) periodically
· Second interviews and follow up with provider candidates
· Handle basic customer service
· Comfortable with a high-energy and busy office
· Good phone manner and professionalism
· Assist with sourcing and coordination of new providers
· Answer phone calls and promptly return calls as needed

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
