Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated electrician to support our electrical team on residential projects. This role involves assisting experienced electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair tasks across residential sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in electrical systems, a solid understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to work in dynamic environments. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in electrical work, including low and high voltage systems, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems on construction sites.
Use hand tools and power tools to perform wiring, and other electrical tasks.
Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage wiring according to NEC standards and schematics.
Read blueprints and schematics to determine wiring layouts and installation procedures.
Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues.
Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA regulations.
Support framing carpentry tasks related to electrical installations when necessary.
Assist with the setup of electrical systems on construction sites, including framing and conduit support.

Experience

Prior 5 yr. experience with electrical work is preferred.
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment like ohmmeters is highly desirable.
Construction site experience is beneficial for understanding safety procedures and project workflows.
Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, low voltage, high voltage systems, NEC standards, and basic electrical theory is a plus.
Experience working with construction or electrical teams on large-scale projects will be advantageous. This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in the electrical trade while supporting experienced professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
