Duties

Support the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to meet high standards of presentation and taste.
Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance on food production, safety protocols, and service procedures to ensure smooth workflow.
Assist with menu planning and recipe development, incorporating innovative ideas while maintaining consistency and quality across all dishes.
Oversee inventory control and food management processes, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective inventory management.
Ensure strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitation regulations to guarantee a safe environment for staff and guests alike.
Coordinate catering events and banquet services by supervising food preparation and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality meals.
Manage shift schedules, delegate tasks efficiently, and foster a positive team atmosphere that encourages collaboration and professional growth.

Qualifications

Proven experience in fine dining establishments or upscale restaurants with strong culinary skills.
Demonstrated supervisory experience leading kitchen teams or culinary staff.
Extensive knowledge of food production techniques, menu planning, and food safety practices.
Background in banquet service, catering, or large-scale event food management is highly desirable.
Familiarity with inventory control systems and food handling regulations within the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership abilities combined with excellent communication skills to motivate staff and ensure operational excellence.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
