Full Job Description

Company Overview
Construction company specializing in site work, drainage, and concrete and asphalt construction. Our team works on commercial, industrial and residential development projects. We are looking for a reliable Office Assistant / Secretary to support daily office operations and assist our estimating and project management team.

Position Summary
The Office Assistant will handle administrative duties including answering phones, assisting with estimate preparation, customer service, and general office organization. This role is important to keeping the office running efficiently and supporting our project and estimating teams.

Key Responsibilities

· Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers, vendors, and clients

· Type and format estimates, proposals, and project documents

· Provide administrative support to estimators and project managers

· Maintain organized files, records, and project documentation

· Assist with scheduling meetings and managing office calendars

· Handle emails and general correspondence

· Assist with data entry and basic office tasks

· Maintain a professional and organized front office environment

Qualifications

· Previous administrative, secretary, or office assistant experience preferred

· Strong typing and computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, email, Quickbooks)

· Good communication and customer service skills

· Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks

· Attention to detail and accuracy when preparing documents

· Professional attitude and reliability

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience working in a construction office environment

· Familiarity with estimates, proposals, or construction documentation

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Experience:

Commercial construction: 2 years (Preferred)
Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
