Full Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Nondestructive Testing Technician to join our team. As a Nondestructive Testing Technician, you will be responsible for performing quality control inspections and tests on various aircraft engine components. Your expertise in analyzing and interpreting test results will be crucial in ensuring the integrity and safety of our products.

Responsibilities:

Conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on aviation components using Magnetic Particle (MPI) and Fluorescent Liquid Penetrant (FPI) testing
Interpret test results per maintenance manuals for acceptance/rejection
Maintain accurate records of test results
Follow safety protocols and adhere to quality assurance standards
Clean engine parts and components after performing inspections
Clean engine parts and components after performing inspections
Read and interpret aviation maintenance manuals and specifications
Perform other job-related tasks as necessary

Experience and Qualifications:

Must speak, read, and write in the English language
Must be able to pass a vision test including color-blindness check
Previous experience in nondestructive testing is preferred
Previous Level I/II Certification in MPI and/or FPI is a plus
Must be able to pass Level I/II NDT Certification Exams within a specified timeline.
Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking ability a must
Must work well as part of a team and be able to work independently
Must be willing to submit to initial and random drug screens
Must be punctual and reliable.

Working Conditions:

No travel required, single location
Air conditioned and heated indoor facility
Frequent standing, walking; reaching with hands and arms; and occasional stooping, kneeling, and crouching
Frequently lift items weighing 15-50 pounds
All tooling and equipment provided
Training provided as necessary
