Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pharmacy Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care! In this energetic role, you'll support pharmacists by preparing and dispensing medications, managing pharmacy operations, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes and streamline pharmacy services across diverse healthcare settings. Whether working in hospital, community, or specialized LTC (Long-Term Care) pharmacies, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment that values precision, compassion, and teamwork.

Duties

Accurately enter prescription data into pharmacy software systems while maintaining strict patient confidentiality
Prepare and compound medications, including sterile IV infusions and aseptic techniques for critical care and hospital settings
Assist with medication inventory management, including ordering, stock rotation, and regulatory compliance checks
Support patient service activities such as intake, medication counseling, and answering medication-related questions with professionalism
Ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws, drug regulation policies, and pharmaceutical regulatory compliance standards
Perform pharmaceutical calculations for accurate medication dosing and preparation in accordance with medical terminology and pharmacological principles
Maintain meticulous records of medication dispensing, IV compounding procedures, and data entry logs to support audit readiness and quality assurance

Qualifications

Proven pharmacy technician experience with a strong background in hospital or community pharmacy environments
Knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations, drug regulation, medical terminology, and aseptic technique is essential
Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and data entry processes to ensure efficient workflow
Excellent customer service skills combined with a commitment to patient care and maintaining confidentiality
