Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Sous Chef, where your passion for food and leadership will elevate our kitchen operations to new heights. In this vital role, you will assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen activities, ensuring exceptional food quality, safety, and service standards. Your expertise will inspire our culinary team, streamline food production processes, and uphold our commitment to fine dining excellence. Duties

Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet high standards of quality and consistency
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a motivated and efficient team
Coordinate food production for various service segments such as fine dining, banquets, catering events, and special functions
Ensure strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards across all kitchen areas
Manage inventory control and ordering processes to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste
Participate in menu planning and recipe development to keep offerings innovative and aligned with guest preferences
Oversee shift management, including scheduling staff rotations and monitoring service flow to ensure smooth operations

Skills

Proven experience in fine dining environments with strong culinary skills in food preparation and cooking techniques
Demonstrated supervisory experience managing kitchen teams in high-volume settings
Extensive banquet, catering, and restaurant management experience with a focus on food service excellence
Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitizing procedures, and proper handling of food products
Skilled in inventory management, cost control, and food industry best practices
Strong leadership abilities with excellent team management and communication skills
Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail during busy service periods
Experience with menu planning, shift management, and kitchen operations within hospitality or restaurant settings
