Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical Oncology - Columbus, OH

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) / Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Hours/Week: 36 hours per week
Employment Type: Contract (Temporary)
Licensure/Certifications: Ohio RN License, BLS (required), ONS Chemo (preferred)
Experience: Minimum 2 years in MedSurg/Oncology, Telemetry monitoring experience preferred

Pay & Benefits:

Hourly pay: $59.18/hour
Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit

What You'll Do:

Provide specialized nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with various solid tumor cancers (e.g., breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, esophageal)
Monitor and interpret telemetry to ensure optimal patient safety
Administer chemotherapy and other treatments per protocols (ONS Chemo preferred)
Assist patients throughout their cancer journey, from diagnosis to end-of-life care
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to prevent infections and falls
Document patient care accurately using EPIC or similar EHR systems
Float to additional MedSurg Oncology units as needed for staffing needs

What You Need:

Valid Ohio RN license and BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology or med-surg settings
Telemetry interpretation and monitoring skills required
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred: ONS chemotherapy certification, previous travel experience
