Barr Residential & Development is seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) to join our team at Harding House. This position plays a vital role in improving the quality of life for our residents by connecting them with community resources, coordinating resident programs, and fostering a safe, supportive, and engaging living environment.

Position Summary

The Resident Services Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between residents and community service providers. The RSC identifies resident needs, develops partnerships with local agencies, coordinates educational and wellness programs, and supports resident stability while working closely with property management.

Essential Responsibilities

Assess resident needs and connect individuals and families with appropriate community resources.
Develop and maintain partnerships with local service providers, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, and nonprofit agencies.
Coordinate resident programs including:
Financial literacy
Employment assistance
Health and wellness
Senior services
Youth and after-school programs
Life skills education
Organize community events that encourage resident engagement and neighborhood involvement.
Maintain confidential resident files and service documentation.
Track program participation and prepare reports as required.
Assist residents in accessing benefits, transportation, food assistance, healthcare, and supportive services.
Work collaboratively with the Property Manager and maintenance staff to identify residents who may benefit from additional support.
Assist with resident communications and community outreach.
Ensure compliance with HUD and other applicable program requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, Public Health, or a related field preferred.
Equivalent experience in social services, case management, community outreach, or affordable housing may be considered.
Experience working with seniors, families, or low-income populations is preferred.
Knowledge of HUD, affordable housing, or community resource programs is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer software.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
