Full Job Description

The Jr. Buyer will play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery of goods and services by monitoring and expediting orders throughout the procurement process.

Role specific responsibilities:

· Track and monitor the status of purchase orders and work orders to ensure timely delivery

· Communicate regularly with suppliers/vendors to obtain updates on order progress

· Identify potential delays or discrepancies and take proactive measures to mitigate risks

· Liaise between internal departments, suppliers, and logistics partners to facilitate smooth order flow

· Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to expedite urgent orders or resolve issues impacting delivery schedules

· Follow up on outstanding orders and expedite delivery as needed to meet project deadlines or customer requirements

· Maintain accurate records of order status, shipping information, and delivery schedules

· Identify and address potential issues or bottlenecks in the procurement process

Work Experience Required:

· 2+ years of manufacturing planning, inventory management and purchasing experience.

Skills & Knowledge Required:

· Excellent communication skills, works well with all levels of associates

· Results driven with emphasis on keeping customer and business commitments

· Consistently demonstrates highest level of personal ethical conduct.

· Strong analytical skills, bias for action, and strong problem solving skills

· Proven procurement and negotiation skills

· Basic computer knowledges with MS Office

· SAP experience a plus
