About the Role:

The Dietary Aide plays a crucial role in supporting the nutritional and dietary needs of residents within assisted living or healthcare facilities. This position ensures that meals are prepared, served, and delivered in a timely and hygienic manner, adhering strictly to dietary guidelines and infection control protocols. The Dietary Aide collaborates closely with kitchen staff, nursing personnel, and other team members to provide a positive dining experience that promotes the health and well-being of all residents. Attention to detail and the ability to follow both written and oral instructions are essential to maintain compliance with food safety standards and individualized dietary plans. Ultimately, the Dietary Aide contributes to creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment that enhances the quality of life for those in care.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions accurately.
Basic knowledge of food service and infection control practices.
Demonstrated patience and ability to relate positively with residents and team members.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working in assisted living or healthcare dietary services.
Certification in food safety or dietary aide training.
Familiarity with special dietary needs such as diabetic or low-sodium diets.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
