Blue Sky Fertility has an administrative assistant opportunity available at our main clinic in Overland Park, Kansas. This is a full-time position working as a Front Office Administrative Assistant scheduling and checking in patients.

Our ideal candidate maintains a cheerful and smiling demeanor while taking care of our amazing patients. This individual will greet patients and visitors in a prompt and courteous manner, serving as the main point of contact for all patients entering the clinic. This individual also serves as a liaison between the patient, medical support staff and the providers, all while demonstrating the highest level of customer service with compassion and accuracy.

Schedule:

Full-time position
40 hours per week
Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities Include:

Answering incoming phone calls
Scheduling all appointments
Collecting demographics and insurance data
Entering all information into EMR
Scanning/faxing/emailing/calling for pertinent information
Preparing documents/charts for each day
Receiving medical records from outside clinics and importing into EMR
Verifying that patient charts are updated promptly and accurately and all needed consents are signed
Demonstrating a positive interpersonal relationship when working with patients, fellow coworkers, supervisors, physicians, outside vendors, and community
Exhibiting professionalism in all actions, communications and personal appearance
Providing superior customer service to all patients
Following HIPAA guidelines
Other duties as assigned

Required Skills Include:

Outstanding communications skills (written and verbal)
Excellent computer skills
Exceptional organizational, detail oriented, multi-tasking and time management skills
Ability to express compassion and empathy

Qualifications/Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree preferred)
1 year experience working as a Front Office Administrative Assistant in a hospital or medical clinic setting
Must be willing to undergo a drug and background screening if selected candidate
Must maintain strict discretion and confidentiality at all times
Must be reliable, responsible and motivated

Pay Rate:

Starting pay from $21.00/hour and may be negotiable based on level of experience
