Part-Time Social Media Management & Post-Event Outreach Coordinator (20 Hours/Week)

Location: Lenexa, KS (Kansas City Area)
Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week (Onsite & Remote)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate + potential performance bonuses

We are a fast-growing SaaS company focused on delivering innovative solutions to a niche B2B market. We’re launching an exciting new application and are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional to help expand our online presence, nurture relationships, and book product demos with qualified prospects.

Position Overview:

The Social Media Management & Post-Event Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for managing social media activity, engaging with prospects, and following up with event contacts to help generate booked demos for our SaaS platform.

This is a hands-on role that combines social media management, outbound messaging, relationship building, and marketing support. You will work directly with the owner/founder and play a key role in driving awareness and sales conversations.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management

Create, schedule, and post content across platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, and others as appropriate)

Send connection requests and direct messages to targeted prospects

Engage with industry conversations, comments, and groups

Monitor engagement and report on growth metrics

Repurpose content from webinars, events, and marketing materials

Post-Event Outreach & Demo Booking

Follow up with event attendees, booth visitors, and online leads

Send personalized messages to nurture relationships

Qualify contacts and schedule product demos on the founder’s calendar

Track outreach efforts and follow-ups in CRM or tracking system

Maintain organized records of conversations and status updates

Assist with event coordination and logistics (virtual and in-person)

Provide input and ideas for marketing campaigns, social content, and event promotions

Help develop or refine online marketing materials and sales collateral

Offer creative suggestions for improving outreach, branding, and positioning

Support other related marketing and administrative initiatives as needed

Qualifications

Experience in social media management, marketing, sales support, or outreach

Strong written communication skills (professional, conversational, persuasive)

Comfortable initiating conversations and following up consistently

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Self-starter who can work independently in a remote environment

Experience booking meetings or demos is a strong plus

Familiarity with SaaS, B2B marketing, or the MSP/IT industry is a plus

Skills We’re Looking For:

Professional but friendly online communication style

Ability to personalize outreach messages (not generic spam messaging)

Creative thinker with marketing instincts

Basic graphic/design input skills (Canva or similar tools a plus)

Comfortable using LinkedIn, scheduling tools, and CRM systems
