About the Role

The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator serves as the executive leader of the facility and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, including clinical quality, financial performance, regulatory compliance, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction.

You will work closely with department leaders to create an environment where residents receive exceptional care, employees thrive, and the community achieves operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading day-to-day operations of a skilled nursing facility
Driving clinical excellence and superior resident outcomes
Building, developing, and mentoring high-performing leadership teams
Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Managing financial performance, budgets, and business objectives
Supporting census growth and community relationships
Cultivating a positive culture focused on service, accountability, and teamwork
Partnering with residents, families, physicians, and community stakeholders to enhance the resident experience

Qualifications

Current Nursing Home Administrator license (or eligibility for licensure in Kansas)
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Prior leadership experience in long-term care, post-acute care, or healthcare operations preferred
Demonstrated success managing teams, budgets, regulatory compliance, and operational performance
Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain composed and effective in fast-paced and challenging situations
Passion for serving seniors and improving quality of life
Proven ability to inspire, develop, and retain talented teams
High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism
