We're not looking for someone to complete a checklist.

We're looking for someone who takes ownership, anticipates needs, and enjoys being the person who quietly makes everything run.

This is a unique position for someone who enjoys solving problems, staying busy, and making a meaningful impact every day.

Your mission is simple:

Handle the physical, local, and in-person responsibilities that cannot be outsourced, allowing the founder to focus on serving clients, growing the business, and performing the work that only he can do.

If you're the type of person who enjoys figuring things out, jumping between different projects, and taking pride in making someone else's life dramatically easier, you'll probably love this job.

This Is NOT a Traditional Office Job

If you're looking for a position where you'll spend eight hours sitting behind a desk, this isn't it.

You'll report to the office each day, but your work will often take you outside the office.

One hour you may be updating physical trial binders.

The next you may be picking up supplies.

Later you may be assembling furniture, transporting equipment, meeting a contractor, organizing storage, delivering documents, stocking supplies, or preparing materials for an upcoming court appearance.

No two days are alike.

If variety energizes you, this position was designed for you.

Why This Position Exists

Many administrative tasks today can be performed remotely.

We already have remote team members handling much of that work.

This position exists for everything that cannot be done remotely.

If a task requires someone to physically be present, there's a good chance it's part of your job.

Every hour you save allows the founder to spend more time serving clients, preparing for trial, building the business, and creating opportunities for everyone on the team.

Typical Responsibilities

Because this role exists to handle work that requires someone to be physically present, responsibilities may include:

Operations

Maintaining physical trial notebooks and binders
Organizing paper files
Preparing conference rooms
Setting up equipment
Coordinating vendors
Receiving deliveries
Shipping packages
Purchasing supplies

Logistics

Running business and personal errands
Delivering and retrieving documents
Transporting trial materials
Loading and unloading vehicles
Coordinating local projects
Taking vehicles for maintenance or detailing

Office & Property

Moving furniture, boxes, and equipment
Organizing storage areas
Assembling shelving and furniture
Stocking office kitchens and supplies
Light property organization
Coordinating maintenance appointments

Personal Support

Grocery shopping
Dry cleaning
Household supply runs
Laundry and household organization
Returns and exchanges
Pet-related responsibilities when needed
Miscellaneous tasks that eliminate distractions and protect the founder's time

Physical Requirements

This is an active position.

Applicants should be comfortable:

Frequently walking, driving, and lifting throughout the day.
Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, including up and down flights of stairs.
Loading and unloading office equipment, furniture, and trial materials.
Using basic hand tools to assemble furniture and equipment.
Working both indoors and outdoors as projects require.

Technology

Although this isn't primarily a desk job, technology shouldn't intimidate you.

You should be comfortable learning and using:

Microsoft Office
Gmail
Smartphones and tablets
Cloud storage
Printers and scanners
AI tools such as ChatGPT and voice transcription software

You don't need to be an IT professional.

You do need to learn quickly.

Compensation

$25–$40 per hour, depending on experience, demonstrated performance, and level of responsibility.
Approximately 20–30 hours per week initially.
Opportunity to grow into a full-time position.
