Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Front Office Scheduler/Biller to join our dental family. In this vital role, you will manage patient scheduling, coordinate appointments, and ensure accurate billing processes. Your proactive approach will help streamline daily operations, enhance patient experience, and support the financial health of our practice. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a passion for helping people restore and or maintain excellent oral health, this opportunity is perfect for you to make a meaningful impact.

Duties

Schedule patient appointments efficiently using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring optimal use of provider time and resources
Verify patient insurance information and eligibility prior to appointments to facilitate smooth billing processes
Collect and process payments, co-pays, and outstanding balances accurately during patient visits or via phone communications
Follow up on unpaid claims and outstanding balances through effective dental collection strategies

Experience

Prior experience in a medical or dental office environment or healthcare administrative role is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, dental coding, and billing procedures is helpful
Familiarity with EMR systems and EHR platforms used for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes. We use Curve dental software.
Demonstrated ability to handle dental collections professionally while maintaining excellent patient relations
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing dental records and billing documentation
Ability to communicate clearly with patients, providers, insurance companies, and team members to resolve scheduling or billing issues effectively
