Full Job Description

Hands on Bookkeeper – $65-75k, Locally Owned Central Omaha Business

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone to join a ‘hidden gem’ company in our community and be a key contributor from day one. Our client has experienced incredible growth since the inception of the company and have a strong game plan in place to continue to elevate their business above their competition. This is a unique position that would be perfect for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and digging into the details of transactional accounting. You will have direct exposure to the Controller and Owner of the company, and they will turn to you each day to help solve problems and efficiently run the business.

Own all daily bookkeeping including: post transactions, prepare journal entries, and generate financial statements with accuracy and consistency.
Keep accounts payable running smoothly: process invoices, ensure timely payments, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Support accounts receivable, perform daily sales reconciliations, and help maintain healthy cash flow.
Identify ways to improve bookkeeping processes and reporting to make the business run more efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a new beginning. Our client is open to hiring a recent graduate who is hungry to learn or an experienced professional from the construction industry. This is a great role for someone who embraces technology, who loves meticulously getting the details right, and is inquisitive to understand the workings of the business.
