Full Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented person who enjoys numbers and is looking for a way to contribute in a part-time way to a local company. This is a role that you would come in ideally two or more partial days a week to do specific tasks that are hard for our full-time staff to find the uninterrupted time for. It is a great opportunity for a semi-retired person, stay-at-home spouse, or anyone else not needing a lot of hours but wanting to be a part of a local business.

The position focuses on aspects of our cleaners payroll, along with completing route audits after completion of those days. It’s an analytical role built around the goal of ensuring all of our field staff have accurately recorded their daily work.

Why it’s part-time:

We have found that full-time staff who are answering the phones and juggling many operational responsibilities have a harder time focusing on a task that takes a deeper focus.
This position is intentionally designed as a roughly 10 hour per week role because that amount of work fits our operations well. We are not trying to fit a full-time job into part-time hours. We need consistent help with these duties, but in a limited capacity.

The work involves the following main tasks:

Compare each team’s GPS data to our CRM data to ensure accurate clocking in/out. (Export data from both softwares into a specific spreadsheet that compares them.)
Review for any missed time punches or other errors that could affect the teams’ pay.
Move each day’s time data into the two-week payroll spreadsheet.
Prepare the payroll every two weeks, which is a mixture of double-checking your daily work and accommodating any PTO requests, bonuses, deductions, etc. All of these are tracked on a separate sheet by full-time staff, and a thorough guide is available to walk you through the steps.

Enjoys accuracy and organized processes.
Works well independently.
