Full Job Description

Location: Omaha, NE 68117 (in-person) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000 per base, plus commission

We sell sunglasses, reading glasses, winter hats and gloves, BBQ and cigarette lighters, purses and scarves, and cell phone accessories to thousands of independent retailers, regional chains, and wholesalers across the country. We've built our reputation on reliable supply, strong margins, and being easy to do business with — and we're looking for a salesperson to help us keep growing.

The Role

You'll manage a book of existing accounts and prospect new ones, primarily by phone, email, and text, with regular in-person trade show work throughout the year. This is a relationship-driven sales job: most of our customers reorder repeatedly once they trust you, so follow-through matters as much as closing.

What a typical week looks like:

Calling and texting a mix of existing accounts and new prospects
Presenting current product lines, pricing, and promotions
Following up on quotes and reorders
Logging activity and next steps in CRM
Periodic travel to trade shows (roughly 4-5 shows per year)

Trade show work involves physical labor. You'll help set up and tear down our booth, which includes:

Lifting and carrying boxes of product and display materials (up to 40 lbs)
Sell during show hours
Assembling display fixtures and signage

We want candidates to know this upfront — it's a real part of the job, not an occasional exception.

What You'll Need

Experience in B2B, wholesale, or outside sales (accessories or consumer goods a plus, not required)
Comfortable prospecting by phone, email, and text — this isn't a job where leads just show up
Strong follow-up habits; you won't lose track of a quote or a reorder
Able to travel for trade shows and handle the physical setup/teardown described above
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently day-to-day
Reliable transportation to our Omaha location

Compensation & Structure

Base salary: $50,000 per year
Commission: 2-5% based on volume
