Full Job Description

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a dedicated full-time RN for the Millard Urgent Care.

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team and support our commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients while working within a supportive and professional clinical environment.

**Sign on bonus of $2500.00**

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Coordinate patient care activities by tracking laboratory tests, procedures, referrals, and appointments; follow up on missed services and assist with scheduling to support continuity of care.
Provide patient-centered education and support, including medication instructions, treatment guidance, and referrals to community resources, while ensuring care is appropriate to the patient's age and needs.
Manage patient communications through telephone triage, appointment coordination, test result notification, and timely response to patient inquiries according to established protocols.
Prepare patients and exam rooms for provider visits by obtaining vital signs, reviewing medical histories, reconciling medications, maintaining supplies, and ensuring a safe, organized clinical environment.
Support providers in the delivery of patient care by obtaining diagnostic tests, retrieving medical records, performing phlebotomy and specimen collection, dispensing medications as directed, and assisting with clinical procedures.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and order entry, process prescription refill requests, and ensure compliance with organizational policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Methodist Physicians Clinic - Millard Urgent Care
Address: 5908 S. 142nd Street - Omaha, Ne
Must be willing to float to other urgent care locations when needed.

Schedule:

RN: 12hr shifts 10am - 10pm, Weekdays w/rotating Weekend and Holidays 12pm to 6pm

Salary:

RN: Pay starts at $32.00 an hour and may increase based on work history/experience.
Sign on bonus of $2500.00

Job Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred at time of hire, required within 3 months of hire.
Current valid Registered Nurse (RN) License, valid compact multistate license, or a temporary permit while awaiting licensure.
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
