Full Job Description

Looking for Inventory Auditors / Counters / Supervisors for immediate hire.

Prior experience with Inventory Counting /Auditing company doing C-Store and Grocery stores

Experience working with PICS, RGIS, WIS or any other Inventory auditing company are encouraged to apply.

Preference to Candidates experience with SSCS, PDI or other C-Store Back office system.

Hours: 6-8 hour shifts.

Valley Inventory Service is looking for team-oriented, goal-driven individuals to join us in a face-paced, exciting environment at our customer sites. We are dedicated to helping people acquiring new skills that can be used to build a career

We are big on promoting from within for all positions at Valley Inventory Service. We have current needs for Part time Inventory Counters to work at one of our biggest customers.

What we do:

Counting is your main job - you’ll be bending, kneeling and climbing ladders; so you’re either on your feet or knees the entire inventory.
When counting, you may be doing financial or scan audits.
Accuracy and speed are critical to being successful.
From a grocery store to a convenience retail store around the corner to a warehouse a couple hours away, you’ll likely be at a new place just about every time you’re scheduled to work. If you work on the full-time crew, your main job will be for that customer and all of the locations related to that customer.
Starting on time is critical to a successful inventory so we are looking for reliable people that can get to the inventories on time and as scheduled.
Candidates must be able to travel overnight for up to three nights in a row if working on a travel team. We provide a meal per diem and travel pay if working on a full-time travel team.

What is required of you:

At least 18 years of age
Must have vehicle for transportation and drivers' license
Strong work ethic with the ability to focus in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
Ability to work flexible schedules with varying hours
Ability to, with or without reasonable accommodation, frequently squat, kneel, bend, climb ladders and reach, as well as stand for up to 10-12 hours
