Full Job Description

Lead the Day-to-Day. Create Structure. Get Things Done.

Harmony Dentistry is looking for a Dental Trainer/Compliance Coordinator who is ready to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of our dental practice.

This is a key position working directly with the owner doctor to keep the practice organized, compliant, efficient, and focused on delivering an exceptional patient experience.

We are looking for a dental professional with a strong drive to get things done—someone who sees what needs to happen, takes initiative, follows through, and is comfortable holding themselves and others accountable.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Daily Practice Operations

Oversee the day-to-day flow and operations of the dental practice.
Help ensure the schedule runs efficiently and patients are taken care of.
Coordinate team schedules, days off, PTO requests, and staffing coverage.
Identify operational problems and take action to get them resolved.
Maintain structure, organization, and accountability throughout the office.
Ensure office systems and procedures are consistently followed.

Compliance & Policies

Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and applicable office requirements.
Ensure the office handbook and employee handbook are implemented and followed.
Keep required compliance documentation, training, and procedures organized and up to date.
Help ensure team members understand and follow office standards and expectations.

Hiring & Team Building

Take ownership of recruiting when positions become available.
Source and identify qualified dental candidates.
Conduct interviews and participate in hiring decisions with the owner doctor.
Coordinate onboarding and training for new team members.
Help build and maintain a strong, accountable, positive team culture.
Address day-to-day team issues and communicate important matters to the owner doctor.

Patient Experience

Ensure patients receive a welcoming, organized, and exceptional experience.
Help resolve patient concerns quickly and professionally.
Monitor the patient journey and identify opportunities to improve service.
Work with the team to maintain a high standard of patient care and communication.

Leadership & Accountability

Work directly with the owner doctor to implement systems and improve the practice.
Make sure decisions and expectations are followed through.
Bring solutions—not just problems—to leadership.
Take ownership of projects and see them through to completion.

Who We're Looking For

Dental experience is required.

We are especially interested in candidates who have worked as a:

Treatment Coordinator
Dental Assistant
Back Office Lead
Experienced Dental Team Member
Or another dental role with demonstrated leadership and initiative

The right person does not need to have previously held an operations title. We care deeply about drive, initiative, leadership, and the ability to get things done.

You are someone who:

This Is Not a "Sit Behind the Desk" Position
