Bark Collective: Overnight Kennel Attendant

Bark Collective is a full service dog walking, daycare, and boarding company that prides itself in the quality of care for our employees, dogs, and high end clientele.

Overnight kennel Attendant

The overnight Kennel Attendant is responsible for providing the highest standard of care and supervision for Dogs during overnight hours. This includes feeding, monitoring health and behavior, ensuring the safety and comfort of the animals, and maintaining a clean and secure facility. The attendant will also be responsible for administering medications, responding to emergencies, and keeping detailed records of pet activities, health, and behaviors.

*Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Requirements For Success:

Previous animal related experience a plus!
Must be a dog lover
Fluent English Speaker
Customer Service oriented
Clean driving record
Must be comfortable with general care of dogs including feeding, cleanup (yep! picking up poop), and administering medical treatment

Job Type: Part-time Must be available to work Weekends and Holidays.

FLSA STATUS

Non- Exempt

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Must have a minimum of one year of prior experience, and a basic understanding of canine behavior and corrective actions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to sit, stand, walk, present, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and, effectively speak and hear. The employee is sometimes required to: stoop, kneel, bend or crouch. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The typical noise level for this position is: Moderate Noise (business office with office machines and or computer printers, light traffic, dogs barking and playing)'
