Job Summary

This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of food service, kitchen management, and team supervision within a dynamic environment that emphasizes fine dining, catering, and exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of culinary expertise, strong leadership skills, and a proactive approach to ensure seamless food production, safety compliance, and operational excellence. Duties

Lead and manage all food service operations, including restaurant, catering, banquet, and special events to ensure high-quality service and guest satisfaction
Supervise kitchen staff, including chefs and food handlers, fostering a collaborative environment focused on excellence in food preparation and presentation
Oversee menu planning, food production, and culinary innovation to meet diverse dietary needs and uphold brand standards
Maintain strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures, hygiene protocols, and health regulations across all departments
Manage inventory control and food handling processes to optimize stock levels while minimizing waste and controlling costs
Coordinate shift management activities, including scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and team development initiatives
Implement cost control measures related to food procurement, labor management, and operational expenses to maximize profitability
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and conduct regular audits to uphold sanitation and safety protocols in the kitchen and dining areas

Skills

Extensive banquet experience combined with supervising teams in fast-paced environments
Proven expertise in dietary department management, food production, and fine dining service
Strong background in inventory management, cost control, and food handling procedures
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work culture
Deep knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, kitchen management practices, and culinary techniques
Experience managing large-scale catering events or restaurant operations with attention to detail
Proficiency in menu planning, shift management, and restaurant experience within the food industry
Ability to oversee multiple departments including kitchen management, food service management, and hospitality operations
Strong communication skills for effective team leadership and customer interaction
Passion for culinary excellence combined with a commitment to hospitality standards
